The Role
Ares Interactive, the parent company of Berlin-based mobile gaming studio Swift Games, is seeking an Ad Monetization Manager (Contractor) to support and optimize ad monetization across our portfolio of games. Swift Games, recently acquired by Ares, continues to operate as an integral development studio within the group. This role will focus on executing day-to-day operations, improving ad yield, maintaining quality standards, and identifying optimization opportunities across multiple titles.
The ideal candidate is data-driven, curious, and proactive. Someone who not only thrives on operational excellence but also constantly seeks cutting-edge solutions in automation and AI to improve workflows, reporting, and optimization processes.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Analytics, Tech, and Live Ops, to ensure our ad monetization systems are running smoothly and efficiently — and that every optimization contributes to a great player experience.

Responsibilities
Execute and optimize ad monetization operations across multiple live and in-development titles
Manage mediation platforms, ad networks, and partner integrations to ensure smooth setup and delivery
Monitor waterfalls, bid floors, pacing, and network performance to identify optimization opportunities
Track key ad KPIs such as eCPM, fill rate, impressions, ARPDAU, and revenue per placement
Support and analyze A/B tests for ad placements, formats, and pricing strategies
Build and maintain dashboards and weekly performance reports in collaboration with Analytics
Monitor ad quality and user experience; flag and optimize policy violations, poor-performing creatives, or latency issues
Collaborate with Product and Live Ops teams to align ad strategy with game design and user experience goals
Assist in the setup, execution, and performance analysis of offer wall and promotional campaigns
Identify, test, and implement automation and AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and decision-making across ad monetization workflows
Research industry trends, competitor setups, and emerging technologies to inform continuous improvement
Coordinate with external partners and mediation platforms to resolve issues and test new features
Requirements & Background
2–4 years of experience in ad monetization, monetization operations, or a related area (mobile games or free-to-play strongly preferred)
Familiarity with ad tech and mediation platforms such as AppLovin MAX, Unity LevelPlay, IronSource, AdMob, or similar
Solid understanding of ad monetization metrics: eCPM, fill rate, ARPDAU, bid floors, pacing logic, and waterfall performance
Analytical mindset with experience using dashboards, spreadsheets, and BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)
Comfort working with A/B testing frameworks and interpreting performance results
Experience leveraging automation or AI-based tools (e.g. reporting scripts, bid optimizers, anomaly detection, or creative analysis systems) is a strong plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple ad networks and campaigns simultaneously
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and time zones
Fluent in English
